AUDREY

I've loved "Breakfast at Tiffany's" since I was eleven. It's still my favorite movie actually. Audrey Hepburn is so beautiful. Although the clothes I used for this collage aren't in the style of Audrey, the pictures go really well with the clothes haha.  I used Polyvore for this collage. I used to love Polyvore and I rediscovered it last week. Now I am addicted to it. Again..  

It's already Wednesday and I can't wait until it's weekend! Danny and I will be together for two years on Friday. But we will celebrate it next week with a dinner because he has to work this weekend .. So sad..

It's almost Christmas Eve and I already can't wait! This weekend will be a super busy but fun weekend for me and ♡. I am really excited for the Christmas market here in Amsterdam. And .. I still need to buy the perfect Christmas outfit so I wanted to share some of my favorite items. 

I love jumpsuits and dresses so I'm still not sure what I am going to wear. Time is ticking by so I really need to make a decision this weekend. I'm really not good at making decisions so wish me luck haha. The jumpsuit and the black dress are so cute! I also love the golden dress..

But not only the outfit is still a surprise, I also don't know my make up look for Christmas. I love a bold red lip but I know it doesn't look good on me at all. So maybe I should just stick with my boring everyday look. 

I think after writing and reading all this I really need to make time to buy and choose the perfect outfit. Maybe this weekend! ;)

CHRISTMAS SPARKLE

When we were in Venice one week ago we walked past an Intimissimi store this lingerie set immediately caught my eye. The blue glittery lace looked so beautiful. When we walked in I ofcourse saw more beautiful lingerie sets. Eventually I went home with 2 (after trying on MANY different things), I think, beautiful sets. 

This weekend has been crazy. ♡ and I decided to do some Christmas shopping. Buying presents, new ice skates (to skate at Museumplein here in Amsterdam) and Christmas tree adornments (although we already have too many). We already set up our Christmas tree 1 week ago, before we went to Venice, but in my eyes it is never finished. I think it looks perfect the way it looks now! Finally .. I'm driving ♡ crazy with my Christmas obsession. Well, after our little shopping spree we cleaned up our home and watched Home Alone.

This week our new coffee table (with fire!) and TV cabinet will finally arrive. I can't wait! Upcoming weeks more furniture will arrive, a magazine holder and our wine rack. I probably forgot something because lately I just can't stop buying furniture. It's starting to get a bit annoying haha. I hope I can show you our home soon when everything is finished.

So, time for another throwback. Although many things have happened recently I still have so many pictures/memories to share with you. Maybe I should just skip the recap part now and put everything together in a huge throwback at the end of this year. 

But .. A couple of weeks ago my boyfriend and I had the greatest pleasure to got to Amsterdam Fashion Week and visit Esmay Hijmans's fashionshow. I really had a great evening and we ended at the Krasnapolsky hotel and drunk great cocktails at the Taylor.

Off to next year! 

NO HEELS?!

In 2012 I started running and working out but since 1 year I stopped working out and running on a daily basis. (Pole) fitness, running, athletics, ballet, hip-hop dance, Yoga. You name it, I've done it. But I was busy with school and work so to me the weekends were really weekends .. I've always wanted to get back to fitness and running but it didn't really work out. I'm so happy I can finally say I have time and my mind is set to it as well. A huge plus haha. When I posted a picture on Snapchat today from my shoes, I received over 17 snapchats from people who really know me with 'Wait what, no heels?!' and 'What have you done with Elke?'. So yes, you can say it's been a looong time since I actually wore running shoes haha.
